Thank You FODs!

Friends of Diseworth School (FODS) have been working extremely hard over the past year, raising money for our school through numerous events.  Today (7.10.22) during our ‘Star of the Week’ assembly, some of the FODs team presented the school with a cheque for £2,948.69.  This has been raised to provide each class with a reading tree for their classroom, together with a wide selection of books.

Each year group will have 50 books provided for them, which they have been challenged to read by the end of the school year.  This was requested by the pupils and shared with FODS through our new School Council.

Thank you FODs. We can not wait to get reading!
