We chose Diseworth school because when we first visited it was so welcoming. We loved the fact that children are taught in 'houses' for certain aspects of the curriculum.
A small, friendly school which makes people feel welcome.
From the start of our child's time at Diseworth we have always felt part of the school and any queries we have had have always been dealt with quickly and professionally.
The School Improvement Plan (SIP) is a strategic plan for improvement. It identifies the school priorities to further improve and develop the work of the school and to raise standards, the key outcomes and targets, the resources dedicated to these and how we will manage change.
Senior leaders, Governors, staff and pupils work collaboratively to determine the key priorities each year. A clear, succint process is followed to identify what key areas need to be developed and prioritised during each academic year. All stakeholders are involved to to ensure success of achieving our end goal. This also ensures that all needs of the school are included.
The School Development Plan is monitored and reviewed regularly by Senior Leaders and Governors. This is shared with all staff so that outstanding actions can be focussed on.
